Job Title: Table Games Trainer

Salary: $60,000 - $62,000

Responsibilities

As a Trainer you are responsible for assisting in the training and development of our new and current team members. You will be working with the training manager and the management team on the casino floor to address identified training deficiencies or training needs as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in new dealer training classes when they are currently being held.
  • Assist in training sessions for current team members.
  • Independently conduct hands on training with individuals and groups of individuals as needed.
  • Quickly and thoroughly learn any new games added.
  • Comfortably communicate and speak in front of groups.
  • Communicate the necessity of following established procedures to team.
  • Maintain patience in difficult situations where team members may need individual attention.
  • Effectively deal with situations that may arise during training with team members such as attitude conflicts, etc.
  • Support the training manager in all aspects of departmental training as requested.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all team member information including disciplinary actions you may be exposed to.
  • Assist in record keeping and logging performance for team members as requested.
  • Adhere and comply with all casino policy and procedures, internal rules and regulations and abides by all regulations of the Colorado Department of Gaming.

Qualifications

  • 3 years minimum experience as a casino dealer.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games and Monarch procedures for them.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of Colorado State Gaming regulations.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of title 31 regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft office, Table Manager, and Patron Manager required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming Support License.
  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and verbally communicate with team members.
  • Must be able to work in and facilitate a team environment.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to move/lift objects as needed.
