Job Title: Surveillance Operator 

Salary: $24.00 +

Status: Full Time

Shift: Varies


The Surveillance Operator is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the casino and resort operations by continuously monitoring gaming areas, public spaces, and restricted access zones through advanced video surveillance systems. This role plays a critical part in identifying and documenting suspicious activities, security breaches, and procedural violations to protect company assets, employees, and guests.


Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a sophisticated CCTV surveillance system, including pan-tilt-zoom cameras, digital recording devices, and advanced monitoring software, to observe all areas of the casino floor, hotel, and associated properties.
  • Proactively identify and report any unusual, suspicious, or illegal activities, including but not limited to potential cheating, theft, fraud, unauthorized access, and violations of company policy or gaming regulations.
  • Document all observed incidents thoroughly and accurately, including date, time, location, individuals involved, and a detailed description of the event, utilizing written reports and video evidence.
  • Review surveillance footage as requested by management, security personnel, or regulatory bodies for investigations, incident reconstruction, or compliance purposes.
  • Communicate effectively and discreetly with Security, Management, and other departments regarding observed activities and incidents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information observed and reported.
  • Test and troubleshoot surveillance equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all applicable gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs as required to enhance skills and stay up to date with new technologies and techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Surveillance Management.




Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in surveillance, security, law enforcement, or a related field, preferably within a casino or hospitality environment, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate complex surveillance equipment and computer systems.
  • Strong observational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and permits.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods and work in a dimly lit environment.
