Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Salary: $24.00/hourly

Shift: Varies

Status: Full Time

The Inventory Control Clerk responsibilities will include working on the receiving dock matching all paperwork to the vendor invoice and creating variances if needed, reconciling variances with Receiving/Purchasing and sending completed packages to Accounts Payable for payment. Checking all orders filled by the Warehouse for accuracy & obtain a signature from the department placing the order. Handle all returns by departments. Responsible for taking weekly cycle count for inventories of all warehouse areas with either the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for researching any inventory variances & document written explanations while ensuring the warehouse person counting with them signs the final report.
• Responsible for the taking Cycle Count Inventories of our Retail areas- Spa/Salon, Gift Shop & Sundry Shop as well as Bistro Napa & Steakhouse wine inventories, liquor inventory, and warehouse inventory these counts must be done with Management or reconciled with management from that area.
• Documenting variences in writing & signed by Inventory Control & Management from that area.
• Input/assist in monthly Kitchen counts of food inventory for all Monarch Casino Resort Spa Restaurants.
• Input/assist in month Bar counts of Beer/Liquor/Wine for all Monarch Casino resort Spa Bars.
• Maintenance for all ADD/DELETE item numbers for Inventory stock.
• Manage & maintain all master files in the SWS System for the entire company.
• Ensure standard inventory procedures & practices are adhered to at the company level.

Qualifications:

• Physical dexterity- taking physical inventories where you have to kneel down or be bent over for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to be on your feet for several hours taking inventory.
• Must be able to handle moving heavy items around while taking inventory or checking orders.
• Prefer at least 1 year of inventory control experience.
• Must know 10 key calculator by touch.
• Must be a self starter, this position requires a self motivator that can work with little to no supervision.
• Must be computer literate.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Knowledge of AS/400 computers a plus.
• Retail background preferred.
