Housekeeping Inspector

Primary Job Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure they meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards

Verify rooms are completed accurately and turned in on time

Check room attendant uniforms, appearance, and adherence to standards

Support daily operations by assisting with room flow, priorities, and problem-solving

Assist with training, coaching, and reinforcing standards with team members

Participate in corrective action and disciplinary processes as needed

Monitor linen closets, supplies, and project areas for organization and readiness

Inspect project rooms, deep cleans, and special assignments as assigned

Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and unusual activity to the housekeeping clerk or leadership team

Ensure team members are using their devices and carrying walkie-talkies during shifts

Communicate effectively with supervisors, front desk, maintenance, and other departments

Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment

Lead by example and promote accountability, consistency, and quality service
