Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Answers the phone within three rings and with a smile.
  • Provide a warm greeting to our internal and external guests over the phone.
  • Provide guests with directions as needed.
  • Provide guests with current information and events at Monarch Casino Resort Spa.
  • Efficiently answering and transferring multiple calls, while adhering to our All Star Service Principles.
  • Process Front Desk and Call Center reports.
  • Accurately taking and relaying guest requests to other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Valet, VIP etc.
  • Properly handle guest mail
  • Assist guest with any concerns that they may have and record such comments and concerns.
  • Data entry and filing.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE (Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience)

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Experience preferred.
  • Must be friendly, approachable and team oriented
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Computer Knowledge – excel, word, outlook, payroll system, PMS system
  • Ability to work well with others and alone.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The incumbent in this position works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis. The position’s work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation.
