Other Compensation: This position is bonus eligible after completion of one full calendar year which is determined by the Company in its sole discretion and based on certain Company and personal performance objectives.

Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making in the food and beverage department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the F&B industry, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to various stakeholders. This role includes comprehensive analysis of labor, costs, and financial performance, as well as ensuring accuracy in reporting and budgeting.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data related to sales, customer preferences, market trends, and operational performance.
Utilize statistical tools and software to interpret data sets and generate actionable insights.
Review the Overtime Labor report completed by the F&B Analyst.
Discuss concerns with both Front of House (FOH) & Back of House (BOH) and the Corporate Director of F&B/Corporate Executive Chef.
Conduct and/or review labor utilization analysis by comparing cover volume and revenues for different time periods.
Provide feedback to the appropriate management team and the Corporate F&B Director.
Review and/or perform labor analysis for special events, holidays, etc.
Review special Wine/Liquor dinner events spreadsheet for resulting revenues and expenses.
Communicate concerns/issues with upper F&B management.
Prepare the annual F&B budgets for the Food and Beverage Department.
Evaluate and/or review Ctuit PMIX reports to determine the effectiveness of sales for menu items in the F&B outlets.
Communicate results to upper F&B management.
Assist the Food and Beverage management team in various functions.
Review and/or prepare holiday recaps/comparisons, including revenues, covers, and special offerings.
Communicate results with the F&B management team.
Responsible for all completed recipes input into Stratton Warren, as well as revisions required due to menu changes.
Communicate with upper F&B management regarding food costs and menu price discrepancies.
Ensure all Cognos variance reports are distributed to management for all F&B outlets.
Research all budget and PY variances and document reasonable explanations on the Food Summary report.
Communicate variance findings with the F&B management team.
Review end-of-month inventory transfers previously accomplished by the F&B Analyst I for all F&B outlets.
Review all theoretical cost reports completed by the F&B Analyst 1 and assist with corrections if necessary.
Accurately complete theoretical cost summary spreadsheets reconciling all actual and theoretical costs.
Distribute the report to upper management and the Executive team.
Program all menu changes, additions, deletions, menu class changes, screen revisions, etc., in EMC Micros.
Research issues and coordinate with the IT department on unresolved problems.
Review and analyze monthly financial reports from Cognos.
Communicate possible issues, trends developing, and/or any findings that could be potential problems with upper F&B management.

The majority of the shift will be spent sitting. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an analyst, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, including market trends and consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
