Job Title: Compliance Administration Officer

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

Status: Full Time

Shift: Days

  • To effectively evaluate systems of internal control, operating processes, and other management requests.
  • ICA must be familiar with the internal control objectives and operating procedures for the specific area of operations they are reviewing.
  • Protect the company’s assets and ensure that the company performs its gaming related operations in compliance with local, state and federal gaming regulations.
  • Ensure that non-gaming operations are performed in compliance with company standards, operating procedures and/or directives.
  • Effectively evaluate systems of internal controls as pertaining to Sarbanes-Oxley including, but not limited to, the testing of controls, reporting deficiencies, and remediation.
  • Effectively evaluate systems of internal control, operating processes, and other management requests.
  • Perform additional audits and audit procedures as requested by Monarch’s Audit Committee, Management, or the ICO.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Performance Expectations

  • Complete one full set of the ICMP Compliance Checklist for Internal Compliance every six months.
  • Prepare a report summarizing each noncompliance issue noted during the completion of the Compliance checklists. This report must include recommended corrective action plan for each noncompliant item.
  • Perform follow-up observations and examinations of problem areas cited by the ICO, external auditors and the various state gaming agencies verifying that corrective action has been taken to prevent future non-compliance.


Required Skills:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • The ability of the ICA to act independently of the individuals responsible for the functions being audited or reviewed is crucial.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be familiar with the internal control objectives and operating procedures for the specific areas of operations being reviewed.

Education, Training & Experience:

  • 5 years of Gaming related experience required. Auditing experience required operational experience preferred.
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related curriculum.
  • T31 knowledge, training, and experience preferred.
