Overview

Job Title: Restaurant Server

Salary: $11.40 + TIPS

Status: Full Time and Part Time

Located in beautiful Black Hawk, CO, the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a passionate Overnight Server to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, direct them to tables, serve drinks, and make recommendations based on menu knowledge.
• Order Management: Take beverage orders, enter them into the system promptly, and ensure timely service.
• Service Excellence: Provide superior service by refilling drinks, checking on guests, and addressing concerns or escalating issues as needed.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Follow emergency safety and alcohol awareness procedures, maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
• Additional Duties: Clear and set tables, complete side work assignments, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and handle various tasks while standing, bending, stooping, and using hands.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 45 lbs, and perform physical duties throughout the shift.
• Availability and Compliance: Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, and meet all pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug screens.
• Experience and Knowledge: Preferred knowledge of food service regulations and at least 18 years of age.
