Responsibilities

The incumbent in this position is responsible for training of all new Spa Front Desk Concierge, conducting inventory for items needed for the front desk, submitting orders to the Spa Manager in a timely manner to ensure we are always prepared for guests. The incumbent in this position, as with all members of the Monarch Casino Resort Spa Team, is expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner which demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercises confidentiality in the appropriate areas of his/her performance. This position shares in the Monarch Casino Resort Spa support of the company’s Vision, Mission, Values, and consistently performs all functions in a fashion that inspires and motivates others to actively pursue them.

Provide a warm welcome to our internal and external guests.

  • Provide guests with directions as needed.
  • Training of new Spa Front Desk Concierge
  • Overseeing the cleanliness of the spa lobby and areas surrounding.
  • Conducting inventory of items needed to ensure guests have items needed at all times.
  • Ensuring Spa Front Desk Concierge team members are up to standard and performing their daily duties.
  • Accurately taking and relaying guest requests to other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Valet, VIP etc.
  • Assist guest with any concerns that they may have and record such comments and concerns.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE (Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience)

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Experience preferred.
  • Must be friendly, approachable and team oriented.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Computer Knowledge - excel, word, outlook, payroll system, PMS system
  • Ability to work well with others and alone.
  • Must be able to stand and for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
